David E. Clark- Growing up in NJ I hunted out of a 12' BBSB for years. After moving to Cape Cod I found myself in bigger water with 12' tides where the Traditional BBSB was not able to handle the tide and wind on the best days to hunt. With the help of a boat building company we made changes to a proven design. In order to make the boats United States Coast Guard approved, I lengthened the traditional BBSB  boat to 13'4" and continued the hull shape upward and outward in order to get the boat rated for 15 HP, one person and the most important thing your canine companion.    I have built 50 Estuary's with Glass Hulls and Wooden Decks since 1997. Now I am able to provide with Hull # 51 an ALL GLASS Estuary. The boats are then outfitted with Mahogany Cockpit coaming and decoy racks. The floor boards are still sewn Cedar for a great nonskid and that old cedar aroma in the boat.  After making marine canvas for almost any size boat I am able to construct any type of blind for the boats. The most popular canvas is the Dodger. I am the first one to have a traditional BBSB with a Sail Boat Style Dodger ( 1978).     I also make about 400 custom decoy bags each year.
